Which is the best biography?
I'm going to read one over Christmas. So should I go for Bobby Moore by Jeff Powell or Bobby Moore by Matt Dickinson?

And, no, I didn't look at the icon or read the thread before posting.

Which is, of course, an auto-biography.

Both a good read providing insights into Bobby from different perspectives. Powell's is (given his friendship with Bobby not surprisingly) a bit rose tinted with input from Stephanie. Dickinson's is a bit more balanced, warts and all, and just shades it for me.

Why not try both and compare?

If you are after auto-biographies then Rod Stewart's and Schwarzenegger's are good.

Not a biography, but autobiography. Keith Richards: "Life". Even better for the near-comedy audiobook parts read by Johnny Depp.
